About me in a nutshell:

Veerle Luppens, born on 11-30-1978 in Asse. I have a brother Koen, and live with my parents Lucien and Christiane in Moorsel (near Aalst - Belgium).
During my childhood already was a real animal lover. I grew up with my beloved pets, always playing with my Labrador retriever Suzy, my fish, turtles, hamsters, (dwarf)rabbits, parakeet and my 5 cats...
When I was 13 years old, my family adopted Lady, an American Eskimo dog from the dogs’ home. A year later, we adopted Nora, a Border Collie.

After high school I went to the Gent University, to start at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Unfortunately, my choice didn’t turn into the success story that I hoped for... A bit disappointed I got a job as an employee and the next 5 years, I continued working in the same company.

Out of interest and because I really loved working with dogs, I took up a 2 year training to become a canine beautician. And one happy day, I resigned from my old job and started my very own business: a dog trimming parlour BOCANI'! Up till today, this is my full time job.

My first Weimaraner Xanne came into my possession in 2000 and with her started my passion for the Weimaraner breed.

Since the year 2000 I am a member of the Belgian Weimaraner Club, the dog school of Affligem, member of the “Kynologische Vereniging Nievel-Kapel”
(“=KVN”, the dog association of the city of Aalst and its environs).

In 2005 I was appointed to be a committee member of the KVN.
Nowadays, I teach showtraing at the KVN and sometimes at the Dream Team in Melle.

You can frequently find my at shows in Belgium and several other countries, where I am very proud to show my dogs.
